Corderro McMurry is a self-published author of his book, Can I Get a Copy?, Rocky Mountain Emmy award winning journalist. Corderro McMurry is a morning reporter for KRIS6 news in Corpus Christi, Texas and has his own entertainment segment called Pop Culture 101.

Corderro graduated from The University of Arizona (BEARDOWN!) in May 2014 where he majored in communications and minor in theater. Corderro did an internship at Walt Disney World for the Disney College Program. He also was a sports reporter for the student station called Wildcat News. After graduating HE worked for Warner Brothers Studios in Burbank, California.

In August 2015, Corderro attended Northern Arizona University for his master’s degree. He taught public speaking, and an intro to social media course as a teaching assistant. While working on his graduate degree, Corderro hosted his own entertainment radio show, was a sports and news reporter and anchor for the student station, NAZ Today. Corderro interned at Time Warner Cable News (Spectrum News) in Austin in August 2016. While finishing up his Master’s degree, Corderro was published in Cosmopolitan for his paper on Khloé Kardashian.

Corderro worked at Northern Arizona’s professional station, NAU-TV starting in July 2017 for two years where he won a Rocky Mountain Emmy award for producing a commercial called The Lumberjack Life. Graduating with his master’s degree in December 2018, Corderro went viral worldwide for his thesis on entertainment news with the focus on Kim Kardashian West, who asked for a copy via Twitter, which he later self-published into a book.

His self-published book is on amazon titled: Can I Get a Copy? This thesis book is about entertainment news versus hardcore news. Social Media pop icon, Corderro McMurry focused his masters thesis on why we report entertainment news? After grabbing the attention from media outlets around the world and the celebrity herself, Kim Kardashian West, Corderro has now published the viral thesis for everyone to read. The case study focused around Kim Kardashian West and her tragic incident of being robbed in Paris during the 2016 Presidential election.
